How to transcribe audio into text

Upload audio (MP3, WAV, M4A) or record directly and get an automatic AI transcription — great for meetings, lectures and podcasts.

  1. Upload or record audio

    Accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG. For direct recording, the browser asks for microphone permission.

  2. Choose the language

    English, Spanish, Portuguese and 50+ other languages. The AI auto-detects when none is specified.

  3. Wait for the transcription

    ~30s for 5 minutes of audio. Includes automatic punctuation and paragraphs.

  4. Edit and export

    Review errors before exporting (TXT, DOCX, SRT for subtitles). The AI can misread proper names.
